My grandmother was diagnosed with small cell cancer which is lung cancer. When she originally went to the doctor they told her she had the flu. She went back and they told her she was allergic to animals. Finally after many compaints and having her face completly swollen they did a chest scan to find a tumor the size of a golf ball. Well they didnt do anything for 2 months and the tumor grew 1.3 cm. They didnt want to even do a biopsy for another month and a half. We called and complained and they scheduled it within days. She is now on chemotherapy and hopefully on her way to recovery. But the fact is they would have put her off for months. If you feel you have something serious make sure to harrass them if you have to get an appointment. Your life couls depend on it. I hate Kaiser.
