Message: In a 15 passenger van that is used to transport students, is
there a liability incurred by placing the spare tire under the rear
seat? The tire fits between the seat supports fairly well, but cannot
be fastened in place. My concern is that during an accident, the tire
could become dislodged inside the cabin of the vehicle.
