I can correspond via email. I have ran into the same situation and can communicate what we are doing to fix the mess.
11/01/02 Wellness Incentives came into our factory and spent two weeks pitching they're insurance. 1st week was the usual hype, "you need a plan rich in benefits that will cover your needs"...second week was a survey of what we wanted and needed followed by the pitch of the rising costs of health care. Right before our due date they still didn't know what our costs would be, and didn't know till we had it on our checks after Nov 1st. We were told we had "supplimental coverage, that covered things the regular plan didn't cover and we didn't have a deductable...only a small $30.00 copay". Middle of january we received our plan booklet{unicare saver 1000} and it showed we had a deductable of $1000.00 and they're reply was, "oh, yes you do have a deductable, but the supplimental insurance will cover that". We asked what was our supplimental insureance and what did it cover and still have no answer! Wellness Incentives pushed for us to get our two rebates per family member covered, so we could reap the full benefits of the plans options, but now we're told that once we use our "office visits needed to obtain said rebates" we no longer have coverage for the rest of the year because we're then maxed out for office visits. We were told that we would be paid our rebates within 30 days...I have two still pending from last year and two from january this year that I haven't been paid for! They say we'll look into that every time but no rebate checks yet. Everyone who has used the insurance has complained and they've sent represnatives out about 4 times now, and everytime they don't have answers to our questions...they claim "we insure different companies with different policies...we don't know what yours is"...this is while they're at "our plant" to answer "our" insurance questions!!! The left hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing and the right hand is just sitting there laughing...but I'm not!
: What are my and/or our options?! I feel the verbal promises they made aren't being fulfilled{they never gave us anything literature on our rebate policy} and our questions on actual covered or not covered items still go unanswered...I feel they misrepresented the policy the actual policy they gave us, and aren't providing us with the service they should or agreed to...verbaly or on paper.
: I can't even find the Saver1000 plan on Unicares website...does it even exist?! HELP......please!
