Stefan:

I am a retired agent, so you can skip the bull crap. If I am an "independent" agent representing Primerica, or "captive" representing John Hancock, and I "rip someone off" be it full time, part time, or spare time, I will be probably be named but the insurance company WILL DEFINELTY be sued.

Lets say you sell me a policy, by misleading statements. My lawyer that is working on continigency is going to ignore Primerica and their millions, and be concerned about your piddley litte bank account?

Yea, he would rather attach your wages and get $100 each week, theny are large up front cash settlement, while possibly making headlines.

What about the regulators? They are here to, you guesses it MAKE MONEY and further their own carreers. Is the money with Stefan or Primerica?

I can just see it now, front page WSJ:

"Insurance agent fined $1000"

Or would this be more newsworthy?

"Primerica fined $500,000"

Do you have any other strange revelations (probably bottle fed) from Primerica?

Anyway, this little gimmick about Primerica washing their hands doesn't erase the fact that the agent, while representing Primerica, without appropriate supervision, made fraudulent statments.

I think your explanations demonstrate a lack of respect for other agents in the business as well as consumers (don't read message boards etc.)

Are we all drooling idiots except for you?

I am not buying what you are selling, I have spent a long time in insurance, and am wondering how long you have, or if your entire tenure has been with Primerica, because you simply lack the understanding of what could happen when an agent lies REGARDLESS of who he is representing.

: i've got some hard core facts fo' ya! and the reason why a part time person wouldn't screw someone over is because they can't! we don't sell anything but term insurance. and to understand why we can't you should check out my retort to the other comments made about primerica, term insurance and estate planning. another reason why a part-time or full-time person with primerica wouldn't screw someone over is because we are independent dealers with primerica. we represent the company as long as we follow the guidelines in our contracts. primerica does not represent us. that means that if we do screw someone over you sue the agent, not primerica. it's the agent's fault for not holding true to the values of the company. primerica will then terminate the individual contract and you can sue the hell out of that crooked agent for all he's worth. insurance agents can screw people because they WORK FOR THE INSURANCE COMPANY. therefore the comapany is responsible for all it's agents and if one of them screws up the company has to defend his actions. but most companies get away with it cuz if you haven't checked lately life insurance is one of the most profitable business's on the planet. with that kind of money you can put on hell of a lean on congress. so i've heard.
