Well if he is in good health then he should be able to get a lower premium with burial insurance where he answers a few health questions.
If he is in poor health, then he'd want ab guaranteed issue policy, and those are harder to come by these days. Conseco / Colonial Penn is one of the few companies that come to mind as selling the no questions asked product.
