: if u think getting Geico to actually process ur insurance is difficult. hope and pray u never get hit by one of their drivers, who rearended me while putting on her makeup. geico approved a rental car for the time period while my car was repaired. they havent paid for the rental and im enduring the same fax nonsense...while the rental bill collects interest on my credit card.
For those that don't have fax machine and need proog of coverage the Department of MVA can also recieve faxes and you can also have proof of coverage emailed to you. As for the poor service level please remeber that these are normal people that you are speaking with on the phone who take hundreds call a day. They are doinging there best to help everyone. Just try to think how you would feel if you recieved half of what you may have said on the phone to one of Geico's agents. They don't work off of commission so it's not a money thing. As for the rental car...you could have had Geico billed for it.
