Her you go, Ken, in case you cannot read my original post, which is still here. Cut and paste from it: " In IL and IN there was no adjusters license, except for public adjusters."

You are once again proven wrong and that you have not and do not think through your supposed posts of "facts".

: : : : : : : : recently we were in a minor car accident and through this whole claim process cgu has been AWFUL. the claim adjuster made a statement in the beginning we are at fault. after much explaining he finally get it! and apologized. how pathetic. probably they don't even employ people who are licensed. if you have cgu insurance, the best service is NOT to get yourself in an accident.

: : : : : : : Perhaps a few more details regarding the accident?

: : : : : : : As far as licensing, that varies by state; in my state, only independents such as myself and public adjusters need be licensed or meet continuing ed requirements. The carrier folks get a free pass. In other states the licensing is the same no matter what the employer.

: : : : : : : I have worked in two states with absolutely no licensing requirements (at the time at least) - Illinois and Indiana!

: : : : : : xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

: : : : : : --------------> Keith, without having to reveal your real identity would you inform the viewers of this message board how many years you have held an Adjusters License? One, Five, Ten or more? I am just curious.

: : : : : : Ken Young
: : : : : : xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

: : : : : As it is required and offered in the state in which I reside, 10 of the 15 years I have been in the business Kenny. In IL and IN there was no adjusters license, except for public adjusters. That means there was no professional licensing in either state for adjusters at the time, and no license to obtain.

: : : : xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

: : : : -------------> Oops, there is a flaw in your story again. The law in Illinios requiring non company Adjusters to obtain a license went into effect in excess of twenty-years ago not ten years ago as you stated in your message.

: : : : Do you want me to reveal my source of information?

: : : : My question posed to you was not a test type of question so you did not fail any test again surrounding Adjuster questions as you did before when you missed three out of five basic Adjusters test questions.

: : : : At least I have established that you seem to be telling the truth about your qualifications as I did when I enlightened the public to loss retention of company Adusters and bonuses they receive for keeping claim payments down.

: : : : It is so difficult to find posters who do not mislead viewers of these boards when they profess they are quite informative on insurance issues you can understand why I looked at your credentials with jaundice eyes.

: : : : Now there appears that there are at least two of us not misleading the public here and the other three message boards pertaining to insurance related issues and our knowledge of same.

: : : : I have also established that you are not the poster, Bubba Fat. He is in a class of his own with his yammering as denoted by the tone of his messages he posts. I believe he should have been a writer for Warner Brothers fiction movies.

: : : : xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

: : : Yeah, Ken, tell me the source of your "information". I WORKED THERE, STUPID! GAB Business Services, as a matter of fact. NEITHER STATE HAD LICENSING FOR ANYONE EXCEPT PUBLIC ADJUSTERS.

: : : Of course, you are wrong again, but will never admit it. What a small minded fool.

: : xxxxxxxxxxxx
: : -------------> Another goof on your part Keith. It seems to me that it is getting to become a habit on your part.

: : I invite you to telephone 217-782-4515. Ask for John. John is in the Adjuster licensing section.

: : Althoug when I spoke with John we discussed many items, I do not at this time feel comfortable in mentionioning all of them to you but you will hear about them when the time is ripe.

: : As I previously stated, "Bubba Fat" is not licensed it Illinois as an Adjuster.

: : Now here is the part that justifies me saying to you that there are flaws in your information that you have posted.

: : I asked John to provide me with the date of the form that is filled out to issue an adjuster's license. He stated to me 1980. He also stated that the form has never changed. Well then, we know that at least twenty-three years ago the State of Illinois required public adjusters to become licensed don't we which is a conflict with the information you had posted.

: : You are correct in as much as company adjusters do not have to be licensed as an adjuster in the State of Illinois. Therefore you have spent ten years out of your fifteen years of being licensed and you are a public adjuster, so you say.

: : As a public adjuster you had no choice in being one but to apply for an adjuster's license in the State of Illinois.

: : Now who is the small minded fool Keith?

: : xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

: Ken, you dumbass, I never said I was a public adjuster. Read the post. I said PAs have to be licensed, but company people and INDEPENDENTS did not.

: As you seem to need all caps to understand anything, let me reiterate:

: I AM AND HAVE ALWAYS BEEN AN INDEPENDENT ADJUSTER. FOR YOUR INFORMATION, AN INDEPENDENT ADJUSTER WORKS FOR INSURANCE COMPANIES, NOT THE PUBLIC, AS A PUBLIC ADJUSTER DOES. A PUBLIC ADJUSTER WORKS FOR THE INSURED IN PREPARING HIS CLAIM. AN INDEPENDENT ADJUSTER WORKS FOR MANY DIFFERENT INSURANCE COMPANIES AS THEIR ADJUSTER AND FIDUCIARY AGENT.

: I stated in my original post that PAs have always required a license. I AM NOT A PUBLIC ADJUSTER.

: Call your friend back and ask him if GAB Business Services (now GAB/Robins) is an indpendent adjustment company or a PA. Even better. Go to this site - www.gabrobins.com and see what you think (if you do think first, that is). I no longer work for them, but did for eight years.

: thus endeth the lesson. Amen.
