It was easier to sell their Term insurance by making you believe that you were being screwed with Whole Life. ALW would have far more difficult time trying o replace somebodys Term policy with their expensive Term policy.
: : Then after over a decade of using Anti-Corporate America recruiting talk, ALW sold the company to Primerica around 1989, I believe. Primerica at that time was one of the companies that made up the Dow Jones Industrial average, according to ALW agents. So ALW sold the company to Corporate America, the very same industry ALW agents spent slamming. Also Primerica owned other insurance companies (Gulf Insurance, etc.) that also sold Whole Life insurance.

Please dufus!! I am in the insurance industry, and can beat you rates 100% or the time on term, and get paid better to do it. And ours is a true 30 year guaranteed level term, unlike Primerica's Custom IV-30, which is only a 20 year term, and if you are willing to learn, look at YOUR policy with them
