My brother was in an accident or the cause of one because a man slamed on his brakes, causing a chain reaction. He also worked for Dom. Pizza was wasn't on the clock, but still has the sign on his truck from the night before. Farm Bureau has told my parents whose policy he is on that they aren't going to cover it. Reason being is that you have to have special insurance for delivery of things. Their agent knew of my brothers job and what he did, but at know time did she ever tell him or my parents about "special insurance". So now Farm Bureau is suing my parents, brother, people in the other cars, company he worked for, the bank that has the loan on his truck. The crazy thing is they said that they would not being paying anything, but they mailed a chech to the towing company for their services which was something like $600. Farm Bureau will not talk to my parents about any of this or respond at all. Why are they doing this? I have insurance with them and know I am thinking about changing even if I have to pay more. If they are doing this to customers that has been with them for over 35 years what will they do to the rest of us?
