: HELP! My claim has been denied, on several occassions, due to insufficient medical evidence, so says UNUM. They have contacted ALL my past doctors, and each one has supplied UNUM with my medical history. Yet, they still say my claim has been denied. Everytime UNUM receives info, they keep stalling and asking for more. My question, Is it time to get a lawyer involved? I have been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue since 1987.

My benefits were also denied by Unum/Provident and I have Fibromyalgia & CFS...my Social Security benefits were approved on the first submission, WITHOUT AN ATTORNEY - what does that tell you?
P.S. Did anyone see the 60 Minutes show last night? It told all about Unum/Provident's little dirty tricks, as told by previous employees!
