: If you are a John Hancock policy holder you may be interested in this posting.
: First of all, some background information. Sometime back, I reported that the Primererica Life Insurance Company had agreed to enter into a similar Class Action Lawsuit.
: There were quite a few of the agents, who challenged my information posting messages to the PFS information message board I sponsor indicating that I was a liar and didn't know what I was talking about demanding proof from me that my posting was a fact.
: It appears that the company had withheld the information from them and when I provided them the Case number presently before the courts, they then ceased posting their challenging rhetoric to the message board I sponsored.
: Well, I wanted to report to you that the John Hancock Insurance Companies has just announced that they are involved as the defendants in the same type of Class Action Lawsuit the PFS "Dorks" (the uniformed) denied their Duluth, Georgia based home office is involved in.
: Here is the guts and jist of the Class Action Lawsuit.
: The allegations alleged by the Plaintiff's acting as the lead Plaintiff's in the National Suit have alleged that John Hancock policy holders were not properly informed of the premium discounts made available to them when comparing monthly premium charges to quarterly, simi=annual, and annual premium charges which could have generated as much as an 112% annual premium discount to them when compared to paying their insurance premium on a annual bases meaning I payment a year in advance.
: The case number is, # CV-2000-218
: The case is soon to be heard in the "Fairness Hearing" by The Honorable Carol J. Vigil, First Judical District Cout, Santa Fe County, New Mexico.
: As usual, the class of policyholders listed as eligible participants will be notified by mail very shortly. As usual the participants will be allowed to either sit back and do nothing about the class action, opt-out by a specific date and retain their own attorney to sue the company on an individual basis through a civil lawsuit, or third, file an official complaint to the company for to be viewed by a panel for individual damage consideration.
: My understanding is that for those policyholders who sit back and do nothing, they will receive an additional death benefit based upon a formula agreed to depending on the type of policy they own, the face amount of the policy, the amount of the premium they had been paying and for how many years they have paid the premium.
: Those Hancock policy holders who have a vested interest in the Class Action Lawsuit which I have announced here, may also possibly witness a message posted to this board by our poster the KenYoung Basher due to what I believe to be his frustration over the fact that he himself was unable to bring this information to you for what ever reason it may be.
: Well, it looks like we may be getting back on track once again without the senseless interruptions of the flow of information this message board's intent has originally been.
: If there are any questions as to Class Actions in themselves, please feel free to post them and I will do my best to respond to your inquiries ASAP without you having to e-mail me in the form of an attachmentment a copy of the Class Action Announcement you may have received regardless if you receive one from the Hancock or you want to know the mechanics of them.
: I am quite familiar with Class Action Lawsuits also working as a consultant assistant to a well-respected law-firm who itself was involved in Class Action Lawsuits, something that every insurance spokesperson has not been privy to in their insurance careers.
: Please tell you friends about this message board so they also can enjoy the wide variety of information you now are experiencing here.
