Primerica agents do have the capability to offer some decent mutual funds...BUT:
Do you want to invest your money with a Primerica representative who, in all likelihood won't be "in the business" 1 year from now?
Would you trust your money to someone who sells investments only on a "part-time" basis and is not committed to full-time servicing of existing clients?
Would you be concerned that if your rep quits, another rep will come along and probably try to move your investments to generate commissions?
If I were you, I would go to the bookstore or library and do some reading about 401Ks/IRAs, etc...and then go find an independent broker who you can negotiate fees with.
Just my $.02.
: Can anyone tell me about thier experiences investing thier money with Primerica? I have been pondering if I should spend my hard earned dollars in a long-term investment paln but I'm still leery because I'm unfamiliar with the company. Sure, they're affliated with Solomon Smith Barney and Citibank but have any of you had good or bad experiences investing your money? Are there any corperations that do business with Primerica? What is Primericas role in al these other companies they're associated with? Thank You.
