I'm a licensed LA&H agent. I have recently been approached to interview with "PFS Citigroup". I am currently looking for a STABLE career. The person I spoke with had a script in front of him (I know, I write phone scripts). That $200 should NOT go toward your license. I got my license on my own and paid in full for it (approx $400). My wife's company paid ALL expenses on her P&C license. Don't give me this crap about having to pay for pens and paper! We true life agents know what sort of bull we put up with everyday, by "good companies", let alone ones with bad reputations. GOD... people that get suckered in to the companies make me ill. I met an exPrimerica rep. She drove me nuts! She wasn't taught anything about real insurance..."TERM IS ALL YOU NEED". BULL!!! Brian, get with a good reputable company and learn what needs to be learned. email me and I'll bive you some names, the commissions usually suck, but the training is awesome.
: commission is paid by company not by individual, i dont know who you met, but seems like it was someone pretending to be.

: i have been working since 12/03. it worked for me, yes it costed me 200 dollars but it was contributed toward my two year license. you would pay for any course or material or simply even books or pens, if you were to start "any bizz" before you conclude always always look into it and see for yourself if what you hear from other people is right or wrong.
