Look up Jefferson-Pilot Ins. Co. in your State Department of Insurance. Find out if they have complaints.

As far as the indexed annuity, I personally think
that they are far too restrictive now. When they first came out, the products were fantastic, but partipaction rates, or the percentage of the market you get, has plunged.

I think if you look at the participation rate and the caps, they interest may not be much higher than you would get from long term government bonds. And bonds won't come with huge annuity charges and restrictions.

Also it depends on your situation, and your risk level, alot of planers would frown on putting IRA money into an annuity, since there is no tax benefit to you. You can also get more annuity tips here

: Please some info on Jefferson-Pilot Ins. Co. Am thinking about rolling over my IRA"s to a defered Index Annuity- any comments on this move with Jefferson-Pilot?
