I am an insurance coordinator, I see all different sorts of policies and carriers everyday. UHC has to be the absolute definition of rediculous. Their "customer service" reps are totally lacking in education and policies of their own company. The supervisors lack competence and professionalism. Their overall handling of claims is incredulous, do not count on anything they tell you or send to you ie; remittances. Daily I argue with incompetent staff and would not reccommend spending any hard earned monies on anything they have to offer. Someone should do something to regulate this company and others who misquote information to get out of paying claims.
