the $199 in ontario Canada covers cost of life licence and first year of errors and ommissions fees.

-- In the U.S., the $199 is to join and pays for your life license and MAY BE reimbursed. E&O is NOT included and, with the exception of five states, the reps are on their own for that. With most other companies, ALL of this is taken care of for you.

A cost for you would be life insurance manuals around $70 and exam fee $75 payable to CAIFA. If you go out with the field trainer and sit down in front of six families you should receive back your $199 also you should be getting around 5-10 referals per family you visit.

--Oh yea, what a deal. You go out with your trainer, write some business and HE gets the commissions and you MAY get your $199 back and MAYBE some referrals. Great deal there!

Think about it you introduce field trainer to six people they get the benefit of saving money on insurance

--Not likely.

and shown how to reduce income tax payable and gladly give you 30-60 warm referrals.

--Okay, come back from Never Neverland now.

I think a pretty good deal. Take advice from people in Primerica who are doing well and don't listen to these internet critics.

--Funny you should bring that up. You see, using Primerica's own numbers, the average earnings of a Primerica rep are less then $750 per year. Now that's some real success there.

The business in Primerica is legit. And to answer the last person about other companies picking up the tab for marketing materials and such, if they pick up the tab for all of those it comes out the their agents commissions.

--Wrong again! Not only do most pick it up, but reps get higher commissions than Primerica reps. Primerica has some of the lowest commission level in the industry.

Nothing in life comes free.

--Nope, just the best things!
