My father passed away over a month ago..We signed the papers with Clarica and received the runaround ever since...Things like "it's been processed" but we don't know why it's taking so long to receive the cheque. I am no fool. It takes 6 days to receive a beneficiary cheque. My father made the payments in good faith but when it comes time for the money to go the other way whoa...listen to those breaks. If it's such a straight forward policy like they have told my sister, brother and I then why do they not return phone calls and why is it taking so long? I really don't like people playing with my life. The office we deal with is in Kingston, Ontario...we would like an answer. MY brother is in dire straights and could use that money that is rightfully his.
