I would warn against auto insurance with USAA, because I received terrible service with the one claim I ever had with them. My car was hit, but no tickets were issued. Because there was no "at fault" listed, they treated both parties as at fault instead of neither, as the officer had stated. My car was totaled because USAA refused to accept a quote from the mechanic that did not have all brand new parts. It is common practice for mechanics to use rebuilt parts, but USAA would not have it. They also refused to take into consideration the actual market value of my car at the time of the collision. Afterwards, they cancelled my insurance, claiming me as too high of a risk to insure. Then they had my name added to ALL of my family's insurance as "not insured." My mother, my father, my brother, and my sister-in-law's insurance all say that anyone in the world can drive their cars except me. Perhaps this was just a fluke, and not their normal behavior in a situation like this, but I found their actions ridiculous and unfounded, not to mention insulting. My driving record was spotless before the wreck, and I never received a ticket or an "at fault" listing. They seem to be good if you never have major problem, but I would not recommend them to anyone because of the callous way I was treated.
