fyi,

Great post and right on the money!!!!!!!

: : Paul:

: : They can't. They really can't. For at least 3 or 4 of these guys it has grabbed hold of them just like it did Ken Young. I suspect they will be on a 20 year run just like Ken.

:
: Actually, I did let it go for quite a few months, and had planned to not carry on with my website. Then I found out my RVP had filed an unjustified, negative credit report against me, so I reported him and reopened my site.

: I think it's really important that people BE WARY of this outfit. There are so many dirty tricks and dirty players involved in Primerica it makes me shudder.

: : These boards really don't exist for the consumer. They get run off quickly with all the "insider" sniping.

: I think the "outsiders" aren't posting, but they are reading. I re-opened my site only this month and have had over 3000 hits already. I think many people look at the sites and boards and it confirms what they were already thinking, and they don't feel a need to post.

: : These "discussions" are PFS agents and former PFS agents demeaning each other.

: That's probably accurate, but don't forget the agents of other companies as well. They don't shy away from getting into the fray.

: : Nobody else cares.

: I think that's an understatement. People who are considering Primerica care, but not enough to post. They get the info they need to make their decision. For my part, once I realized what a big soap opera the industry was, I decided I wanted no part of it, except to dig up the info that recruiters aren't aware of or choose not to share.

: : There have been boards like these before. In fact, Ken had a MetLife and a Pru board. Again the consumers pretty much stayed away but the agents and ex-agents went at it like cats and dogs for awhile. Currently there is a "trash-NML" board that is extremely thorough but again most of the traffic is between agents. In nearly all the other examples the ex-agents didn't post anonymously. They fired a few salvos and bitched about why they left the company but usually got on with their lives rather quickly. I suspect the reason they didn't spend years whining on message boards was that they moved successfully into new firms or careers.

: For my part, I choose not to turn my back and walk away while people to wander into Primerica uninformed. Lots of people turn their heads and pretend like nothing happened, mind their own business, let others find out the hard way, or as you put it, get on with their lives. My life goes on. I have a new job which I enjoy. But I also have a conscience which says I have to share what I know with others.

: : There is something dynamic about a successful career that allows you to move on. Many of these posters here I suspect have had difficulty post-PFS.

: That doesn't surprise me and I agree. PFS is so much like a cult. After months of listening to PFSers put down blue collar workers, banks, insurance companies, its only natural that when they leave PFS they will be suspicious or even hostile towards working environments. That what the PFS training does to a normal person. It makes them hostile and uncomfortable in the non-PFS world. It separates them from others. And that's what cults do.

: :It is my opinion only but seems to be a logical conclusion explaining the prolonged anger, resentment and bitterness.

: That's also a very natural reaction to having been unduly influenced in a cult-like environment. Your points really only serve to support the argument that there is much more going on psychologically in PFS than most people are aware of.

:
: :Certainly I understand that all will claim tremendous success since leaving but any logical mind would question hanging around an insurance board whining for years on end.

: You've been here the whole time as well. Are you telling me this board contributes to your success? I doubt it.

: :Sadly, I see a Ken Young future for each of them.

: Nah, I don't. Ken Young is a one shot deal. There is nobody as bitter and angry as Ken. He must have lost a whole hell of a lot of business to PFS.

: For my part, I'm not angry at all anymore. Like I said, I just want to give people the benefit of my experience and research. Take it or leave it, I don't care.
