For my part, once I realized what a big soap opera the industry was, I decided I wanted no part of it, except to dig up the info that recruiters aren't aware of or choose not to share. : : : There have been boards like these before. In fact, Ken had a MetLife and a Pru board. Again the consumers pretty much stayed away but the agents and ex-agents went at it like cats and dogs for awhile. Currently there is a "trash-NML" board that is extremely thorough but again most of the traffic is between agents. In nearly all the other examples the ex-agents didn't post anonymously. They fired a few salvos and bitched about why they left the company but usually got on with their lives rather quickly. I suspect the reason they didn't spend years whining on message boards was that they moved successfully into new firms or careers. : : For my part, I choose not to turn my back and walk away while people to wander into Primerica uninformed. Lots of people turn their heads and pretend like nothing happened, mind their own business, let others find out the hard way, or as you put it, get on with their lives. My life goes on. I have a new job which I enjoy. But I also have a conscience which says I have to share what I know with others. : : : There is something dynamic about a successful career that allows you to move on. Many of these posters here I suspect have had difficulty post-PFS. : : That doesn't surprise me and I agree. PFS is so much like a cult. After months of listening to PFSers put down blue collar workers, banks, insurance companies, its only natural that when they leave PFS they will be suspicious or even hostile towards working environments. That what the PFS training does to a normal person. It makes them hostile and uncomfortable in the non-PFS world. It separates them from others.
