LF: Merrill Lynch is hardly "bogus". It is about as legitimate as an brokerage house can be! Management there has perfected the fine art of earning money on the backs of people's trust and confidence in the firms diligent research and expert advice. It has taken years and years of hard work to fine-tune this bullish machine. Rather than knock it, you should buy their stock. It's on sale. Although, you might want to wait. After the lawsuits, which will no doubt be settled out of court, the price of the stock may be discounted further. Even Merrill's considerable "war chest" can only stretch so far. - Paul
