: I have no doubt that WFG is a scheme. But how can a scheme be associated with billion dollar company like Aegon? At least that is what the reps in cheap suits are telling asking me. Any response.

If cash were the only arbiter of corporate conscience then everyone in the world would work for ENRON.

Might does not make right.

Joust because Aegon has a billion dollars doesnt mean that it does everything correctly.

Besides, Aegon is an insurance company ( a European insurance company ) looking for American distribution -- so WFG works for them.

Dont buy a VUL policy -- period -- from Aegon or any other insurance company -- it is an overpriced product that has too much risk in it. Dont buy finacial products from anyone that recieves commissions -- all that means is that they are trying to sell you a product and dont have your best intersts at heart.

Ask them instead to buy a no load product and charge you a fee instead of a commissionalble product -- a good advisor would accomodate you.
