Obviously, I put a little pride in it but I'm not so sure others do. Especially on message boards. Personal correspondence, sure. Here? Not so sure.
: Just Asking:
: I bet if you actually did a scientific survey, you would find there is a correlation between business success and message board spelling, structure, punctuation, etc.

: : Please. You misspelled the word. Get over the school teacher routine. Stick around the net long enough and you will be shocked by the spelling and sentence structure you will read on a very routine basis. There is absolutely no correlation between business success and message board spelling, structure, punctuation, etc. Most of it can be attributed to poor typing skills or laziness. Also, shills often post very positive pro-PFS messages making sure they misspell words such as dog and cat. We are not all that naive as to believe everything we read on the net.
: : I've been on these these boards for some time and I have observed the EXACT opposite. The overwhelming majority of PFS posters state they are brand new recruits and have yet to make much money. The overwhelming majority of PFS bashers are hugely successful agents. The most successful of all seem to be the ex-PFS agents. Funny how two people can read the same board and reach opposite conclusions.
: : : : How come you pick on spelling (which is usually typing errors) and then use the word "mispeeilings"?
: : : I was making a sarcastic point, just like when I typed A FEW WORDS IN ALL CAPS. If you can't see that, it's your problem.
: : :
: : : : Is good spelling a required trait for high earnings?
: : : I find it very difficult to believe that somebody without a reasonable grasp of the English language (leading to misspellings, run-on sentences, use non-existent words) can be taken seriously as a financial advisor. And they would have to be taken seriously to pull in $200,000 with an outfit like Primerica. And I pointed out the odd coincidence that many of the posters to the message boards, when pressed about the income issue, seem to be the "big earners" (even part time!). It's funny how we see such a high proportion of them.
