: United Healthcare linked with a new vision provider. I called the customer service number as instructed in the Vision Plan literature and was told that the Vision Plan was not part of United Healthcare and was administered by another company with another number. I asked if I could keep my existing Dr. with United Healthcare...not on the new vision plan's list of Dr's. I was told I could but that I would have to pay for the visit. I have the choice plan so I can choose not have some vision company I didn't even hire decide who I could and couldn't see for eye care. It is a case of bate and switch...watch out!

UNITED HEALTH CARE DIDNT CHOOSE YOUR VISION VENDOR. YOUR EMPLOYER CHOSE THIS VENDOR.
