I, for one, am completely fed up with friends and acquaintances approaching me with Primerica's "business opportunity" and "debt-free financial planning" crap. No matter what all these brainwashed naifs are shilling, the simple fact remains that Primerica is a pyramid scheme, plain and simple. It's the same as Amway or those ridiculous juicer and emu oil businesses. Period.
And because it's a pyramid scheme, those involved find it necessary to recruit everyone they know, causing potentially awkward, if not downright ruinous, situations with friends and family. Really now. Show me another LEGITIMATE financial organization with an employee base of slack-jawed get-rich-quickers recruited through creepy meetings in shabby offices, and I'll recant every bit of this little rant. Can't? Thought not.
Take a look at the majority of the posts on this board made by Primerica members and apologists. They're hilariously frantic in rabid defense of "the organization," as well as chock-full of grammatical and syntax errors. Would you really want someone lacking a basic grasp of the English language handling your finances? Someone without at least a four-year degree in some sort of FINANCE handling your finances? Yeah. Me neither. That's why I pay a legitimate financial adviser to manage my portfolio. Face it, Primerica members. You're not financiers, you're not managers, and you're not setting foot in my house.
