Weiss Ratings awarded COUNTRY Life an A rating, which is the highest given by the ratings agency. COUNTRY Mutual earned an A rating. Year-end 2009 performance determined the ratings.
A.M. Best Company, Inc. has affirmed the A Superior for the property and casualty and primary life and health companies within Country Financial. Country has been included in Best's highest rating category for more than 70 consecutive years.[4]
Country ranked at 599 on the 2010 Fortune 1000 list. This was an improvement from number 668 on the 2009 list. Country ranked third among companies listed in Fortunes property and casualty mutual insurance company category the same ranking as the last three years.
