Got health and supplemental health options plan in 2009. : : Got sick had to have surgery and filed a claim on the SHOP policy, they took months to even respond, then demanded I jump through hoops to prove my claim. : : My Allstate agent had no clue what some of these things even were and had never heard of them before. : : I finally get a response to my claim, which was denied based on prior medical history, they claimed misrepresentation on my initial application. : : The incompetent staff at AHL could not even cross reference birthdates and social security numbers to verify their facts. : : Then they cancelled my policy and sent me my premiums. : : I hired an attny and filed a case against them, their attny filed the same exact thing; they said to me and even included this other persons medical files in his response. : : All of this and they still DO NOT have to resinstate my policy, which I do not understand at all.
