Seems like the same is happening to us. We have been loyal customers (first with A.L. Williams/Milico) for nearly 25 years, paying a set premium of about $60 a month. We just received a letter stating that the terms of our policy have been met and that the premium will be raised to over $200. Seems like a slap in the face! I have put in just a little less than $18K over the years. I am contemplating canceling (and, if possible cashing out) adding the rquivalent to my benefits at work. The results would be several times more than the original value of the original ALW policy value.
