My parents switched, or should I say were tricked into switching, to HUMANA FROM MEDICARE. They were told they had to option of switching the first year if they did not like it. 6 months later my mom has been diagnosed with cancer. THE DOCTOR WON'T GIVE HER A REFERRAL, HAS NOT SET UP A BIOPSY YET, EVEN THOUGH HE SAID IT'S IN THE PROCESS, AND IT'S BEEN 3 WEEKS. WON'T RETURN CALLS AND HUMANA EMPLOYEES ARE RUDE. PLEASE BE CAREFUL SWITCHING TO HUMANA -- THEY TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE ELDERLY. THERE SHOULD BE A LAW AGAINST THIS TYPE OF BEHAVIOR.
