Short of a lawsuit and a subpeana you could go to each State's department of insurance and get complaint ratios. But this is very generic and only reports people who complainted directly to their insurance carrier.
Most State Insurance Departments will not hear your case if you've already talked to an attorney. So that eliminates some of the worst cases of bad faith.
And a life insurance claim denied? Is the insured dead or not? Unless there is some fraud going on or a missing persons, usually there are indisputible. Cold body
