American Seniors Financial of Harlingen Texas recruits agents to sell their products to the senior market. Agents are required to pay their way to Texas along with any expences. ASF claims they will reimburse. While I worked for them I seldom saw this happen. I would recommend that any agent considering working for this company, throoughly check out the company, the owner, the facilities (very drab), the financial stability, and get them to let you talk to ATLEAST 5-8 agents that are making it ( you would be luck to get one). While i worked for them they had one week they said they had no maney to pay me. After much protesting I did get paid...then terminated the next week. Additionally, in one meeting in front of 7 staff members including 5 hispanics, 1 black and 1 white person, the owner advised us not to recruit people of color or if they had accents. many were shocked but unable to contest in fear of loosing thier job. We continued to recruit people of color occasionally but did get verbal reprimands. There are plenty of people who can support the statements here. Including the former Marketing Director and former Recruiting manager.
