My policy for my husband's motorcycle was lapsing at the end off August. Since he is on deployment, I didn't need to renew the policy, so I took no action and got a much cheaper policy from GEICO. Because I didn't call until the middle of Sept, Progressive wants to charge me $100 for the two weeks I didn't call. I don't feel like I owe them anything since I didn't ask to have the policy in effect and didn't pay for the coverage.
