Ive had nothing but trouble form UHC. Every claim has had to be sent in multiple times before they will pay, if they pay. This requires me to make numerous phone calls to UHC and the provider. What a pain!
They dont cover so many things its hardly worth the bother. Ive paid much more than my maximum out of pocket and am still getting bills. I try to get any commonsensical information out of them and they simply say they dont know, or cant help, or I have to talk to someone else so please hold for another hour a listen to your call is important too us, just not enough to pick up the phone message.
Once you do get someone and ask if something will be covered they offer the very noncommittal, it should or I think it would. At least it makes me feel like Im not stupid. Hell, if they dont even know if something is going to be covered how would I? Only, Im the one left to pay the bill and they get to keep being stupid with someone else. Oh wait, I did wait on hold for hours, and I do pay them the premiums every month. . . . hmmm. . . nope, I guess I am stupid one.
