Hello,
I was involved with PFS for 2 years. What a mistake. It was without a doubt the most negative work experience of my life. Yeah, I did it full time. I got 'promoted' up the line, the whole schemear. In the end, I made no profit. What meager paychecks I did receive all went back 'into the business'. And before you PFS people start the critique of my stinkin' thinkin' or my inability to meet you at the top, you better take a look at your own income. Not what you're 'on track for', but the real income on your paycheck. Yeah, some guy is gonna reply that he's making 6 figures. BS. If you do claim that, you're lying, I know you are, and you know you are too. If you're pulling 800 bucks a month, you are indeed in the top 10% of their earners.
Why am I talking about this years after the fact? Pretty simple. Because I am a top earner for an ad agency and I had this misfortune of drawing the local PFS regional office as a client. I specialize in working with insurance and financial professionals to create ad campaigns that get leads rolling in. These professionals spend thousands monthly because fresh leads are the lifeline to their business. Yes, they do get referrals and they do have repeat clients. But in the end, you always have to be finding a new client, otherwise the referrals dry up and even a lifetime consumer can only spend so much. How much money does this Regional Office spend on their advert campaign to 'support' their agents? About 15 bucks a month. This is in a major metro, btw. 15 bucks is all you're worth to your RVP, if that, even. It's not even worth my time to work their account.

Because, you see, I'm busy making real money, for my real family, towards our real dreams instead of buying into the smoke and mirrors of PFS.

Please, please open your eyes and get out while you can. Before you lose your spouse, like my RVP did. Before you lose your house, like my peer did. Before you lose your self respect, like I did. It's sorta like looking at your church on a critical level. I know it's hard to, but for your own sake, don't lie to yourself anymore about what PFS is. It don't get any better. You just become more of a sucker.

Peace. Out.
