You have to get an attorney, have him look at the contract and start writing demand letters if they violated it.

: I have carried a disability policy through my employer with USAble life insurance company for 15 months. I had to have a myomectomy in January of 2006 and was out of work for 6 weeks. I only had two sick days and won't be paid for the remaining time by my school system. The problem is that this insurance company hasn't paid a dime to me as of yet. I even called before my surgery to make sure that it was covered and they assured me that this procedure was. Whenever I call I get the 'cold shoulder' from the rep handling my area. I have even asked to speak with her supervisor. The supervisor put me on hold and directed the call back to the area rep! This company owes me $1500. What should I do? Meanwhile..beware of them!
