Hello.
My mother had a lapse of Insurance after my father was Laid off from work after 911. She had no Insurance for 3 months or Cobra. She is currently insured now. She has a tumor thats getting bigger and needs surgery as soon as possible or there will be serious consequences. Because of the lapse, The Insurance compnay will not cover her Doctor visits, less the surgery which was cancelled because of this in July of 2005. She is again switching insurance, but we are afraid her surgery will not be covered by any Insurance company. Do you have any advice for us?
