I have been at the Encino, CA WFG office for a while now which is now the Roadside Drive, Agoura, CA office (we just moved) and had our big grand opening. They wanted us all to bring 50 people. This is about when I received this WFG paper on Accountability. It threw me over the line I didnt think I have gotten myself into something like this RECRUIT! RECRUIT! That is all they want us to do its to repetitive her. So I thought I would give others an opportunity to read this before joining WFG. I wish I would have found some of the websites like WFG-Offline prior to joining for now I am just going to hang around and try to get some of these people back for being so misleading and try to help the misguided.

The Captains Strategy

The Captains Strategy has been a key part of us building our business, and we learned about it from great builders like Ed Mylett and Rich Thawley.

Heres how it works:

-Anybody who has a guest coming to the Corporate Overview (Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, or every day) for the week, sends us an e-mail with all of the names of confirmed guests. They are required to send first and last name, phone number and who they were invited by.
-The list has to be received no later than noon on the day of the Corporate Overview (by noon on Friday for Saturday Corporate Overview).
-When someone has 10 confirmed invites, either individual or team, we give them recognition for being a Captain. ***personally, I would prefer money***.
-If someone is a Captain for the whole month, we give them special recognition in the form of a special reward. (This reward varies). ***Oh, please dont give me a stupid trophy for all of this work***.
-When we receive the names at our office, we print out red name badges for all of the invited guests. Our assistant calls the invited guests to confirm their attendance on the day of the Corporate Overview.

This works for a number of different reasons:
-We can track all of the invitation activity.
-We know our numbers. For every 10 invites, three show up, and of those three, one will join the company. ***I think Ive run out of people now what Invite any Weirdo I can find?***.
-When guests get a professional confirmation on the day of the Corporate Overview and when they come to the Corporate Overview and there is a printed name tag for them, it looks more professional. ***Thats all they get is a name tag its funny to see people try to be polite so they can just get the hell out of there never to return***.
-It keeps people focused on the most important thing which is invitations one of the only things what can be controlled when approaching people. ***Again Recruiting most important***.
-We can follow up with the seven invites that dont show up to set up one-on-one appointments. ***some people I know are going to be mighty angry if they call them!***.
