I don't have homeowners with the Auto Club (only auto) but I can say the service has been excellent and they did not fight me when my car was stolen right after my policy was begun.
It might be cheaper if you have your homeowners and auto both with the auto club. When it comes to claims I think it is an almost randum thing if State Farm is going to mistreat. I am sure many many policy holders have gotten fair treatment from State Farm insurance, but some people that feel cheated are very vocal and there are quite of few hate sites on the internet about state farm.

: We've been with State Farm for ages, satisfied other than with cost. Our local Auto Club (So Cal) is quoting us $400 less than SF on homeowners, basically same on auto. Any advice which way to go?
