i found an old phamplet of the constitution of the u.s. presented by john hancock mutual life ins. co. about 17yrs ago in an old house between two floors the book looks very old but in good shape. i was wondering if you knew when this book was published or where i could find some information about it. thank you for your time dar |
Dar, The people most likely to know is John Hancock itself. I'd go to their website and find a contact there. Tell them as much as you can about the pamphlet, especially any copyright notice or numbers printed in small print on the front or back covers. Who knows -- if it is really old, they may offer to buy it. I don't know how you find out about its actual marketable worth, though. -- Rich |
