I was in an accident on 6/7/01. My car is still in the body shop that the insurance co. recommended and says my car will take another month at least to fix. That car was so close to being totaled, but State Farm refused to total it. The body shop requested a second appraisal for an extra $2000 worth of damage but it was not enough to total it. The body shop knew it was bad and did not even want to fix it. They thought it should be totaled. State Farm would not budge and they won't give me any rental car.
