Unfortunately, the only person who got brainwashed is you.
You said you "almost" got recruited yet you joined the company. It seems like right after you joined (seconds within joining?) you quit just because some faceless individual on the Internet tells you WFG, a company in a very regulated industry, is a scam and they're associated with the devil and other unbelievably false statements. Not only that but you replied to the company email in a very childish and inappropriate manner and continued with the inappropriate manner here in this forum.
That tells a lot about you and many people who based their decisions on these individuals. We need to think for ourselves. Imagine for a minute a company associated with fraud, murders, rapes, scams, herpes, cults, gays, whores, etc. What kind of company like this exist in the most regulated industries out there? Use your common sense! The WFG industries are regulated at the state and federal levels. Furthermore, they have to abide by certain regulations of regulators in their own industries.
While you are in the state of uncertainty, you will soon see, if you do not make hasty decisions and rash judgements. Trust me, we've all been there. Think about it for a moment. On one side there are a handful (I am assuming) of individuals for one reasons are another hates this company, WFG. They hate it to the extent that they would make up things to say to scare off new people. Many of the new people make hasty decisions and rash judgement just like the individuals here. These individual based everything on unverifiable sources and assume WMA is WFG. They cannot be more wrong. I'm not here to give you a history lesson. I kow that before you had no doubts but now you have doubts because some faceless guy say that WFG is a very bad company.
Well, we are all adults. We can all make our own decisions. It's good to have doubts because we have all been there. One time or another we have all doubted the people, the company, the opportunity, and our success. It's perfectly normal. What I don't want to see is that you never took the opporunity to "work it" because you were too afraid you may not "make it" because the doubts in your head came about by these faceless individuals.
This is what I think, but you can think for yourselves. There are some people like the individual here who quit even before he started because he assumed what he reads on the Internet is true. The bad posts he reads on various forums are by individuals who has something personally against someone in the company to the extent they would make up false things to say. Because of that he copies and paste what he believes to be true on other forums and he tells others to do the same, just like what the bad posts says to do. Soon everyone who reads the forums has doubts or believes the negative postings that they read. But the question remains if the negative things are true. Is it true of WFG and its leadership? You have to answer that, not me. I've already know the answer.
All I know is that it's unclear to you either ways. If you continue to read the negative postings (which may not be true) you will eventually have more doubts =) Once you have doubts, you have a hard time trusting people at WFG. No matter what they say, even if it's true, you will not believe them. Deep down those doubts are stronger than your common sense. In fact, you may not trust yourself and your senses. You will eventually make your decision based on these postings. You will avoid WFG and all its people as though they're a disease. You will quit and possibly feel bitter about losing your (nonrefundable) fee. Now you're the same as the people who've posted negative postings on the Internet.
Or you may take whatever you read at its face value and talk to the leaders in the office. You will discover who exactly is WFG and how do WFG help people. You decide to be a client to see what recommendations you're given and why. If you believe it's good for you and your licensed rep. has done a good job for you then I guess you will understand and common sense tells you that if WFG can help you then certainly WFG can help others. If you feel this way then you would have no problem referring others. Or you for some reason you find out what you were recommend and the reasons why you were given that recommendation isn't suitible for you. If so then you quit.
** side note ** Ten financial prfessionals will give you ten different recommendations based on their own reasons so find out on what basis were you recommended certain course of actions.
Whatever the case, do you due diligence before you make your decisions. Don't be like the individuals here who hastily thank the "dream-stealers" for "saving" them. It's like paying the fee to join and then someone scares you by saying "they gonna take your money." You quit and cannot get your fee back. You then feel bitter because "they took your money." And now everything the "dream-stealer" is true. You see what I mean.
Well, don't prolong the pain. Do yourself a favor. Either you're "in" or you're "out". Don't hang around! WFG doesn't need another person who joins to do nothing but to find faults to confirm their doubts.
