In Reply to: Is Selling AFLAC Ins. Really a Great Career? posted by Steve Forestor on May 31, 2005 at 06:28:38:
Well Steve, I started out as an Administrator at the State level here in CA for the CA/CC AFLAC State Coordinator, and I have decided to swey towards the "Duck Side" and become an independent rep. I have had the opportunity to watch people grow with their new career choice, and it is quite impressive. Like most career choices, you must put in 100% and motivate yourself to get your career choice moving in a steady "upward" direction. It is not something that just happens, you have to make it happen. I also must add that EVERYONE I have had the opportunity to be in contact with from AFLAC, agents and World Wide representatives included, are some of the greatest people I have been fortunate enough to meet. (most of them from World Wide were via phone) I believe that you are making a wise decision with moving towards a career with AFLAC. Either direction you may decide upon moving towards, I do hope it brings you happiness!
: I am thinking about becoming an AFLAC sales associate, and I am hoping former & current AFLAC sales associates will share their opinions on the question asked above, and I am hoping current and former sales associates from competing insurance companies will also share their opinions, as well.
: TIA,
