That's a question only you can answer. Yeah, yeah I know, not what you were looking for but... Do you have ATLEAST a month or two of savings? If you have a family to support I would advise you to put them first. Get your steady job & save up atleast a couple of months income so when you get started w/AFLAC you can focus on prospecting & getting appts instead of "how am I going to pay the bills?" Truth is... if you're not disciplined enough to do that you'll find this business very tough. When I took the position w/AFLAC I had been unemployed for 6 months! I figured "what have I got to lose?" Fortunately, it paid off but not w/out hard work AND sacrifice. Two yrs later I also write Life for another company (kitchen table stuff) to keep the income steady. Good luck to you!
