Hi, my son is in the U.S. Military serving in Iraq at the moment. He is a family man with a wife and 2 children. I read on another message board that almost all insurance policies have a "war clause" in them that says the company won't pay the death benefit if the insured is killed during a war. Can any agents verify if this is true or not? There seemed to be some people debating that this was true on the other message board, but the administrator deleted their postings and now refuses to discuss the topic further. What's strange is he is the one who made the statement that policies contain war caluses.
This is a matter of great concern for me and my daughter in law. I would appreciate a response.
Thank you!
