Every company other than sole proprietorships are multi level companies. Traditional insurance, broker, and mortgage companies limit the number of levels. In a traditional financial company the sales manager can make overides, or bonuses on the production of the agents, however there is no way for agents to receive overides without becoming sales managers. Primerica is no different. As a sales agent proves their worth with production and proves that they can successfully motivate and maintain a sales force by recruiting they can promote to management positions. BUT the structure of Primerica is not the major issue. The problem most agents have with Primerica is the "BUY TERM INVEST THE DIFFERENCE" idea. I would like to see more people using MATH to argue this point. : : : Then prove me wrong, MLM freak! : : 6 million - even PFS' own numbers say "over 100 thousand". 6 million what? : : MLM is a failed system. Great for the VERY few who make money at it on the backs of the MANY who never do. It is a great job for failed used car salesmen in bad suits. : : If you want to be a good, honest insurance agent and/or financial planner, get a real education and work for a real, legitimate company. : : Are you proud of working for the Amway of the insurance industry. Any legitimate planner/agent laughs at you amatures and is incensed by your complete incompetence. : : Why does your company discourage education and advanced degrees? I could not agree more with Pam. I've been with Primerica now since 1988 and things are better now than they ever have been. I'm a Regional Leader, which is technically a part time position, and have been able to work at whatever pace I have chosen to work at any particular time. And I'm certain my income is better than 90% of most folks. : : : Commissioned sales is commissioned sales. Period. Though products and services are priced differently, they will not sell themselves. If they would, they wouldn't need anyone to sell them. : : : Our services are needed and wanted now more than ever before. At my office, our meetings are packed. And unlike the traditional commissioned sales position, with Primerica you can build an organization that will provide income even when you are not out there working yourself. What's wrong with that? If it's such a bad idea, why then are there so many copy-cat organizations sprining up? No one tries to copy a 'bad' business plan. : : : You may not see any value in Primerica, but at least 6 million (and growing) other people see tremendous value. : : : Keep in mind, Primerica is here, and ain't leaving any time soon...unlike your favorite anti-Primerica boards that are falling like flies, lol. : : : I know it bothers you that some people are doing well in Primerica. Why it bothers you? Well, that I don't truly know or care...perhaps you should seek professional help on that. I can tell you this much though...it brings me great joy rpoving folks like you wrong. : : : : : : : Fake post alert... : : : : : : : : : I have been with primerica for a year and I believe that your opinion is actually coming from a person with no motivation to actually work. primerica is no different than any other commission sale job. (Ive worked in them all my life) It is backed by a large wonderful company with a proven track record. The only people in our office are the ones who don't work. My family and friends were more than happy to see what I was doing and we moved them all over to a debt elimination program that was extremely better than what they had. I have never had to make a cold call because the people I help are more than happy to give me warm referrals. It is no different than having a restaurant and asking your friends and family to come in and try it and recommend it to their friends. The person that trained me makes over 300,000 a year, does not charge me for anything. I have personally went head to head to many people in finances and I know more now than they will ever learn. everyone was totally up front with me about earnings, recruiting and working hard. : : : : : I interviewed with 4 other financial firms before I joined Primerica and they were useless! They all expected me to cold call, recruit with no override, and promotions were a joke. : : : : : As I said at the beginning, only those afraid to work would write this crap. : : : : : Pam
