[100 Insurers Message Board] [FAQ]

I am writing this complaint to let you know that I am very unsatisfied about your "full" coverage. I recently was in an auto accident and i was very pleased with the prompt service that I was given. But I was not pleased when I found out that I still had to pay my 500$ deductible even though the accident was not my fault. What exactly is full coverage really covering if i am involved in an accident thats not my fault and the other driver flees the scene. Why am I paying for full coverage if im not really fully covered. I dont think I should have to pay a deductible for something I had no control over and had no fault in if I am supposedly fully covered. So when I recieved the estimate for 1100$ and a check for 600$ where exactly am i suposed to get the other 500$ to cover the losses occured in my accident when the other driver left the scene? I dont have that kind of pocket change lying around. So please answer why I am paying for full coverage if im not being fully covered.
