Yes there is. There are many publications including the website of the AM Best Company and a monthly periodical know as The Insurance Forum.
The Insurance Forum is owned and published by Joseph Belth who is a retired Professor at Indiana State University. Dr. Belth is commonly known in the insurance and financial services industry as the "insurance man's insurance man". Dr. Beth was even called upon by a Congressional Committee investigating the Insurance Industry back in 1979 to give testimony on behalf of the FTC.
