This is, by far, the WORST insurance company. They are not advocates of quality care and care management for their policyholders. I work for a healthcare agency and we frequently service patients with UHC policies. We continuously experience inept customer service personnel, who seem to feign great difficulty in interpreting policy information and resolving claim issues. The problems are so wide-spread, at every organizational level, that we still have unpaid claims dating back to 1997!!
United Healthcare insurance company does such a great diservice to its policyholders!! Patients acquire their policies with the hopes of receiving coverage for quality medical care, but what they receive are bills from various providers because UHC has not paid their claims!!!
This has got to stop!
