Sir, maybe I can be of some assistance, I was employed as a claims processor for Oxford from 1997 to 1999. What you seem to have is a question regarding coordination of benefit (COB) when there are multiple policies for a person with different carriers. If oxford is considered a secondary carrier, the primary carrier will pay UCR (usual and customary charges accepted by the medical provider) less any co pay. the secondary carrier should cover any other fee that is left over provided deductibles and co pays are met. I hope this helps you !
