Most insurers will not give you a stated value on your car. That is not unique to Safeco Insurance.
Have you complained to your dept of insurance? Life is a negotiation. Come up with your own comparables, and tell them they are not dealing with reality.
The same thing happened with me and AAA. They lowballed me on a stolen totalled car. They were using comps with work trucks and beaters. I demonstrated the adjusters idiocy and they gave me a very fair price on the total.
Stick to your guns, they are all like that, even AAA!

: You do not want insurance with safeco. My wife just totaled out her vehicle and they are not willing to pay out fair market value. They went back to sep. on comparison vehicles some not even of the same exact model, to come up with the lowest possible figure on what our vehicle is worth.
