: : Just a quick note, in the past few years family members and I have been in and out of the hospital over 50 times, some short term stays, day stays, and long term stays. During that time we had two insurance companies. Prudential ----- yuck! They tried to kick me out of the hospital when I was in preterm labor, my son when he was in the NICU, and my husband 48 hours after a abdominal apendectomy (after the appendix had ruptured!) United Health Care, on the other hand, has covered all reasonable medical costs including two experimental surgeries and 3 months of home uterine monitoring for a follow up pregnancy. Even my ob/gyn said that he never had a better experience with an insurance company with a high risk pregnancy.
: : Like with all insurance companies, I do have to keep up on them when a payment here or there isn't made, but in every case it seems that the mistake has been on the doctor's or hospital's end and not United's end.
: : The staff is very helpful and friendly!
